Designed by architect Jack Kenneally, this challenging 18 hole course is also beautifully situated, this time in the meadowlands of the Bandon River valley, just two miles north of Kinsale. The landscape has been utilised to its maximum and the planting of a large number of hardwood trees will in time add to its playing strategy.

6,609 yards long and consisting of two loops, the course starts and finishes at the Clubhouse, situated on the highest point of the course. The first hole maximises the roll of the land, initially eastwards towards the boundary of the old Cork to Kinsale railway line and the refurbished station-house.

It continues over the incline and flows to the natural waterways on the back nine holes, which makes for a pleasant and interesting field of play. The course is a stiff yet fair challenge to all standards of golfers, a challenge which will manifest itself as the course matures.

The Clubhouse has been tastefully designed, overlooking the ninth and eighteenth greens and consists of extensive locker room facilities, bar and restaurant with additional Pro Shop facilities for sales, lessons and hire.
