Kinsale Golf Club has the fortunate position of having two very different courses, Farrangalway and Ringenane. Two very distinct courses complement each other well and offer the visitor a very full day!
The Course Record at Farrangalway is 68, scored by Alistair McKinlay in the 2001 Munster Youths Amateur Open Championship, on the 20th of April. The record was matched by Paul McNamara on the same day. Alistair however went out and scored anopther 68 on the final day to lift the championship by one shot.

The first 68 was made up of a level par front nine and a 3 under par back nine. The front nine had 3 bogies (3rd, 6th and 9th) and 3 birdies (2nd, 5th and 8th). The back nine had 1 bogey (11th) and 4 birdies (10th, 14th, 15th and 18th).
