Kinsale Golf Club are doing very well so far in all competitions!!!

Fred Daly:

Yet again we prove our worth and pride for the club that is Kinsale. We came up a confident (cocky) Harbour Point team and we played supurbly and came out the worthy winners 5-2. Anthony Broderick getting a great win there as did Scannell, Flemming and Walsh!!

On the 13th of April we came up against a very strong Muskerry team! 3 matches were won and 3 matches lost as it came down to Anthony Broderick who pulled off a heroic yet nerve racking victory on the 19th playoff hole to bring smiles to all the juveniles, who's legs were shaking on the edge of the green. Great sporting game and thanks to everyone involved! Well done to everyone involved in the win against Cork Golf Club in the Fred Daly before that!! Kinsale juveniles formed a strong team of 7 and beat Cork GC 6 to 1. This leaves us in a situation where we play Harbour Point in a neutral venue somewhere that either team has not yet played.

As most are well aware there is a ladder system in place at the moment, you can challenge anyone two places above you and if you win then you take their place. The Irish Foursomes: This was held on the Tuesday 10th of April in Lee Valley with a lot of teams competing! 2 qualified and 4 of our own men yet again played wonderful golf to qualify for the next round! Team for Foursomes: Peter Fitzgerald, Peter Scannell, Eoin Flemming, Anthony Broderick, Ray Walsh, Gearoid Cullinane, Sean O Brien, Fintan O Hea

The U21 Youths: This was held in Harbour Point and it was a three man event. Well done to the three from Kinsale that played but the course proved to tough for our lads in this occasion.
Team was Paul crowley, Eoin Flemming, Anthony Broderick Peter Fitzgerald.
